PITU Constitutional Amendment Board

The Constitutional Amendment Board is an appointed Board by the Tribal Council. The Board is comprised of five members, each member representing the respective Bands of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah.  The Board is leading the initiative of assisting in the amending and/or revising of the PITU tribal Constitution and insuring the proposed changes are crafted to mirror the importance of modern governance while also realistically addressing the current and evolving needs of the Tribe.  The Board will be working over the next year on gathering feedback and recommendations in developing a formal recommended revision to the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Constitution for approval to appear on the Election Referendum ballot.
