As part of the ongoing collaborative efforts between the Department of Justice’s MMIP Initiative and the Presidential Task Force on Missing and Murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives (Operation Lady Justice), today the Department published the first of two issues of the DOJ Journal dedicated to the topics of missing or murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives. There are many excellent articles in this edition, which examines the role of law enforcement, prevention, culture and medical treatment for victims. The second issue is set for publication in March.
